Margrith Bigler-Eggenberger, 1st federal judge, died on Monday 5 September 2022

She was not only the first but also the only woman to sit on the Swiss Supreme Court for 17 years.

Our condolences to her family, to the members of our committee who knew and worked with her, and to all the women whom this pioneer defended and inspired.
